We are in the run up to week 1 match-ups and I'm damn near ready to crawl through my skin with excitement. As with the previous podcast, things are still a little bit unorthodox right now. This week's recording took place just outside of Huntington, West Virginia (Home of the Marshall Thundering Herd). The good news is that I made it safely to my destination. The bad news is that my mic apparently did not, so I certainly apologize for the crappy sound quality. More importantly, I regret that Randy wasn't able to join me for this episode, due to some personal things he is attending to. Randy should be back with us next week, and hopefully things will begin to resemble a bit of normalcy. In this episode, the NBL takes a brief look at a few week one contests including: Pitt vs Utah, Illinois vs Missouri, Purdue vs Notre Dame, TCU vs Oregon State, UNC vs LSU, and Virginia Tech vs Boise State. We also discuss the prospects of an undefeated Ohio State, this year's quarterbacks to keep an eye on, new spoiler teams, and former spoilers that may have stepped it up.
