Top 20 for November 2nd, 2008

We don’t have Texas Tech quite as high as some of the other polls, but if they handle OK State this weekend and OU the following weekend then the Red Raider fans won’t have a thing to worry about except Penn State and Alabama. We do have Texas over USC and that is how it should be. When ranking teams who you have played and how you have played does matter, but for the most part when Eric and I rank the teams we are not as concerned as when teams played.

Honorable Mention: Central Michigan. The team that is playing the best ball in the MAC right now isn’t the undefeated Ball State Cardinals, its the 7-2 Central Michigan Chippewas. After a hard fought win over Indiana this weekend, CMU is in charge of their own destiny.
